Mind Mapping of Journal entries

Clustering, also called Mental Maps, is a great way to save space and time when the newspaper. For those of you who aren't familiar with mind maps, you can search in Google the words or read one of Tony Buzan (the creator) books. I eventually included the ten basic rules of Mind Mapping.

A mind map is a graphical technique that leverages powerful words, images, numbers, logic, rhythm, colour and spatial skills. Unlike linear notes, allows the mind to work with the ' expansion.

Mind maps are an incredibly powerful memory tool. While I was studying for my CPA exam, I created a very large detailed map Mind covering several walls in my home office. When I was to support the ' examination I could close my eyes and see the mind map and go right to the answer.

We both know that the ' picture says a thousand words. In Mind Mapping, you can use a single word to trigger a series of reminders or you can make a drawing (artistic does not matter) that represents a story or memory for you.

You can use mind maps or clustering techniques to register a single event or a ' whole day of events. If you are working on time management, you can also use a mind map to track time and tasks. For this, you want to transform the landscape of paper, add a ' Center image, like a clock, and use the branches pointing in the same way now of clock '-noon or midnight, would be to ' high, slightly to the right 01:00 of midnight, etc under-branches would be a word that represents your attention or task at the time.

After participating in an event staff development on that evening, I like to reflect on my experience, drawing a map from what I remember. This is a great way to transfer my thoughts from short to long term memory. If I took notes I choose a word or a ' image that represents each branch although per for each sector. When I remember a thought that does not connect cleanly, I register a Word to trigger what I remember with a question mark to the right before turning in for the night. In the morning I have the answer or a complete framework that relies on that map. Sometimes the morning brings even more ideas or fuel for thought.

Keeping your Maps or cluster in your diary-usually in one place-you can quickly revise previous Maps on which to build. The Maps provide an aerial master, it is easier to see how to connect the dots-aha moments or unmasking models. There are easier than in the linear notes.

Maps also shorten the time journal. What might normally pages or a linear write now ' now takes 15 minutes.

Be creative and have fun with this technique it is important for the ' experience. Mapping encourages the use of ' colored pencils, pens and ' using images instead of words. My drawing skills have improved since third grade, yet after a few hundred planes lopsided now can draw from different angles. But I'm still sticking with people stick.

Ideas also count. Ideas always occur during our writing. We are writing away, a ' idea ping and there is a need to try to keep him on the margins of our mind or record somewhere quickly before it slips away. Start a map in a new page, insert the ' idea in the middle of the page, then return to finish writing. You will find your mind popping in and out from one to another as ' continue to write.

You can also keep a separate map diary. Every few years, I remember to buy a newspaper for that purpose. One of my favorite Map diaries is known Sketch Book from Bienfang. You can order them in many places on the net. Our local Staples store usually brings them in stock. Are different because the top of every page, about three quarters, is empty and ready for your map. While the underside has lines for writing.

Of course, maps and have many other uses cluster-like brainstorming (alone or in groups), search, read, study, or storing. So, learn the technique is worthy to learn. I use them for almost everything, including the three books I'm working now.

Basic rules for Mental Maps:
1. Sheet sideways.
2. Pen or computer
3. Select a topic, issue or subject-matter and purpose.
4. start at the center of the page.
5. Using the colour to enable memory. Each distinct main branch has a different color and each sub-branches to the main branch that stays with the color that branch.
6. Rami closer to the Center are thicker.
7. every idea starts a new branch.
8. use images to express ideas, when possible.
9. L ' image or Word needs to sit on the line and in print.
10. ' line L must be the same length l ' image or Word.

Winning words for the Web

From the website The verbal advantage

Have you ever sat down to create that win announcement, press release or newsletter advertising and couldn't come up with words or phrases? You will never make your luck until this dilemma by dialogue. It is necessary to extend the powers of expression, precision and persuasion. You need a concentration of color, flavor and tone to highlight the message. This goes for personal conversations, writing promotional material or the creation of a web site.

The Internet is a Money Maker

In many ways the Web is the medium, but only for those who can provide their message persuasive and convincing. Eventually it will be the site's ability to create desire and forcing l ' action that will bring real wealth. Those not in possession of verbal skills will be a perpetual disappointment. Cannot create the success they desire, socially or economically.

Winning Words

How do you make your website dazzle, fascination and seduction? For your site to be truly special and interesting will be based on the semantics of success. Carefully selected words and phrases, then orchestrated to create sensation, desire, and finally action " ". Eventually, the success of your website is based entirely on the visitor's decision to purchase and we will do ' " now ". Nice graphics you can not get the decision. Dazzling colors. Only moving and inspired words can accomplish this mission.

Can you have magical powers when you're there in person ... You think you can charm a dog off a meat wagon in person ... Instead, maybe not. In both cases, your words and phrases need to bring your message without the benefit of your presence. You can't rely on your big smile or your body language. Only the words of the site will tell the world who you are, what you do and what it represented.

So, expand your inventory of words and phrases, and then choose accurately. You will be surprised by the difference will do.

What to write about

This is a perennial question between writers and wannabe. Many of us dream of writing a book. Why not. That larger story cans one write your own. Every day brings with it a new beginning, a new page in the book of life.

What can you write?

Someone said that everyone has a story. What is true. Every day that passes, it is a page in the book of life where to start? From the depths of your soul, from your heart. What stirs you? What excites you? What challenges? What frustrates you? What makes you happy?

If you're with so-called writer's block? All blocks can be readily removed, it was occupied and best of all, replaced with determination. Just sit down and start writing. Think of a Word, write about that Word and continue to write. Simplistic? Not really. A Word can have flying fingers on the keyboard, or if you believe in pen and paper, go ahead and let your thoughts flow from the pen tip to the precious paper.

Develop the habit of writing ' each day, Yes, every day. Write something and you'd be amazed at the Bank of data stored in your brain ideas waiting to be discovered. You don't have to write a new idea, a new concept, a new theory. Think of a new approach, a different angle, a different perspective.

Think of this: it's off to a nature hike with five of your friends. You take the same road, see the landscape itself, under the canopy of leaves and the same sky and step on the same ground, walk under the same conditions.

After ' excursion, surely there will be five different versions of experience or adventure. Go home and tell day to friends and relatives, everyone will have a ' different image of the landscape, walkers and their experience. If this day was caught and frozen in time with the camera, every pair of eyes that watch the ' image will be different perspective of each image. Everyone will see several features that attracts their attention.

In you life, life around you, people in your world, your hobbies, your dreams, your adventures. L ' list goes on. C ' is always a corner waiting to be discovered, a ' idea impatient to be interpreted, to be written and shared with the world. So, what do you hold? What is important is to sit down and start writing. Tap into this deep reservoir of knowledge that lies deep to the internal '. Swim in the River, enjoy the experience, as you get deeper into your shots, stronger and safer.

Don't put off for another day. Surprise Yourself. The world waits to hear from you.

How to write movie reviews for your entertainment site

If you have a site of entertainment then you're always looking for fresh, new, fun and interesting material to keep your readers coming back for more. movie reviews are a great way to do it. People want to know what someone else thinks of the film that they want to see and will scour the web looking for these opinions. Now you could syndicate the comments of another website, but why do it? You want your reader to be faithful to you and your site and I honestly want to hear what they have to say and what you think. If you're thinking of not having the faintest idea about how to write funny, movie reviews, then think again. I'm going to tell you everything you need to know.

1. Actively watch movie-Yes, I accept that watching movies is a passive activity '. Watch a movie is not something you do, is something that happens to you. However, if you want to write good reviews that you must learn to watch movies with a critical eye. This means that you must pay attention to everything and I mean everything. Notice how the actors are placed in each shot, the ' setting, camera angles, even music. All these elements play a role in the story that is looking to be told and are important to talk about if you want to write the kind of reviews that convincing your readers stops for your site every week to read ...

2. take notes-No. I do not expect to sit in a theatre with the pen and pad or a laptop in hand. But I expect to take mental notes. Information such as names of ' who was the actor or Director is easy to meet, but information such as camera shots, or plot devices is not, then you need to train not only to look for that type of information, but also to remember.

3. Summarize. Do not spoil. -This is important. C not ' is nothing worse then reading a review that tells the whole movie by ' start to finish and leaves nothing for you to see. People want your opinion, not for you to spoil the film. A basic summation of the plot is all that is needed. From there you can talk or not the plot works well or was the plot a plot at all. Let the details of the movie is revealed when your readers do not see the movie, when they read your opinion.

Let the details of the movie is revealed when your readers do not see the movie, when they read your opinion.

4. critical analysis is the key-the difference between a review anyone can write and people clamor to read review is as well to analyze the film. Think about those cards you had to write for lit class in college. The Professor doesn't want you to just say that the book was about but wanted to demolish the themes of the book and how they related to the plot, characters, etc. Well the same goes for a film review. Nobody wants a summary of the events or the plot. A good review will examine the themes or ideas movie raises and speaks of how well or not so well executed movie themes and ideas.

5. you point out the pros and cons – no film is rare are perfect, and all the bad movies, so take the time to talk about what the film does well and what is not so good.

6. be original-For some folk it two thumbs up, for others it is rotten tomatoes. Whatever you decide that you want the rating system to be, be original. Try to find a hook that works for you. Just don't do something that looks a lot like someone else or you just seem like a bad copy of the original '.

Follow these steps and you will be written the best reviews of the web has to offer and continually your readers coming back for more weeks in and out the week. Good writing.

Also the choices of words that I used in this article are not profound. No words sounded to recall from, without lines, none of which talk about the writing style of scale to be proud of. What should I do? If I stopped this talent? I am closer to photos of animosity.

Write Article for fame and fortune

As you'd like to have your name and web address ' scattered throughout the Internet?

How your website pass to the front pages of major search engines?

In fact, is not as hard as you might think. It takes some time and effort on your part, however, the rewards will far outweigh the ' effort that you put in.

Not only can you receive thousands of dollars of free publicity and promotion, but you can also develop a reputation as an intelligent person, one that many people would like to be an affiliate.

So just what is this Almighty genius of self-promotion?

Believe it or not, is writing the ' article.

Just so, the best method I have found for getting free publicity is to write articles and submit them to ezine publishers and article directories. website owners and ezine publishers are always looking for content for their websites and newsletters. Why not let them publish yours.

Let me give you an example of the power of writing. I had written only 1 article home business ' d and submitted it to a dozen sites online l ' article submission. Prior to this, when I checked Google to see how many links I had to come to my site, MLM wonders, showed only 37 links. About 2 weeks after I submitted my article I checked again and had well over 300 incoming links.

If you're not sure what that means, let me explain.

By submitting my article to those few sites, I gave anyone permission to download and use it as content on their sites. Controlling only one of the sites that I have submitted to I discovered that my article was downloaded more than 150 times. So, if 150 people put my article on their website, just think of the ' exhibition (and link) I am getting.

If you consider the fact that these 150 websites can get thousands of views each month, my little article could be seen by hundreds of thousands of people. All at no cost to me!

You may also think that people don't want to read articles that are just advertising with lots of links in them so how does that allow you to promote your site.

You're right about this, and also remember that most article submission sites will not let you send articles that are just advertising for your site or products. Actually I don't put all the links in the body of my articles.

Then, as are all those links coming to my site?

Simple. Every article you write, you have the possibility of putting a resource box at the end. This short ' Signature File ' is usually around 5 lines and is where you can introduce yourself and tell the readers about what you sell and how they can get more information. May contain a link to your website and an email address. This is your advertising, and it's free.

What is the problem, I don't think you can write about something interesting?

I didn't think I could either. Then I got to thinking about what I've done online for the last few years. I thought some of the problems I had and how I fixed them and how I used the internet to make money (i.e. This article). I also decided that other people might want to know these things and soon, a writer is born!

Thousands of people are joining the Internet every day and are looking for information on particular themes. Some may be looking for ways to make money, others may be looking for recipes, or articles about animals, or whatever. The possibilities are endless. If you have a favorite hobby, share with others by writing articles about it.

If you are unsure about a topic, doing a little research on the internet. Read the other articles, websites and then condense what you learn in an article.

C not ' need to be an expert, just write as you would talk to someone on the ' topic. Try to be grammatically correct and check the spelling ', or have someone check it for you.

Don't try to write it all at once either. If you're not sure what you are going to say, simply write down what comes to mind, then go back and complete paragraphs. Stop for a while ' and then return to it. You'll be surprised what you can remember on the ' argument when you're around, then you can go back and sort out.

Try to keep your articles between 500 and 1000 words. Keep your paragraphs short, because this makes it easier to read. If you don't like writing paragraphs, you could do a ' Advice ' article, for example, " 7 tips for *** ", or " 10 good reasons for *** ".

Stand Out In The Write Business Way

When ' was the last time you received a handwritten note by a business partner? It may be that it was too long ago for you to remember. D ' the other hand, if you got one lately, you know exactly who sent it and when. handwritten notes have become nearly extinct in the business world. So if you are looking for ways to stand out from the crowd, to be noticed by your colleagues and clients, try putting pen on paper every time that you have the slightest excuse.

There are few more impressive acts handwriting a letter or note to someone with whom to do business or want to. Most people think that write notes by hand, requires more time and effort. Ironically, can be quick and painless if you do it often and follow these tips:

1. By writing supplies on hand. Shop for stationery and stamps in the most convenient place on your desk. When you need to send a note, all you need to do is reach for your firm, dash off a few lines, l ' address the envelope, stamp put in place and send it by mail.

2. keep your message short. These are the notes of so you only have to come up with three or four sentences. If you try to compose more than a few lines, the writer's block is responsible for putting in time and must not go beyond " start ".

3. develop a system. Before you head out of the Office for a business lunch or a function that someone else is hosting the ' address to an envelope for your reception. It will be a doddle to write your SMS to your return.

4. use the appropriate professional. Both cards match only front and fold-over note with the name or logo imprinted on them are business-like and will represent you and your organization well.

5. Poor handwriting is not an excuse unless your writing has totally unreadable. The person who receives your note will appreciate your consideration and your classification will not be writing. If your script does not meet the standards, it is never too late to improve. There are many resources at your library or on the Internet for teaching to write legibly.

6. use every opportunity to get noticed with a note. Some of these cases are when ...

You received a gift
Have you been a guest in someone's home
She was housed for a meal
You have received a business favour
Are you responding to an invitation
Send condolences
You want to offer congratulations
You need to apologize

7. make your current message. If you send a note of appreciation, congratulations or condolences, to do so as quickly as possible. Special thanks must go from 24 to 48 hours. However, not to send a note on why you think too much time has elapsed. There is no statute of limitations.

8. Understand that the ' email is not a substitute for the personal message hand-written. The Internet is fast, efficient and remote. If you are corresponding by e-mail immediately after a meeting with a business partner, please enter your expression of gratitude, but don't let that prevents you from sending a message to Earth.

Successful people pay attention to detail and looking for ways to build business relationships. When you take the time to send handwritten notes, are distinguished by mass for all the right reasons. Your next big sale or promotion of jobs can be created as a result of your business by doing just a little different '.

How to publicize your online E-zine

Once you have created a webzine, how do you get the word out? This brief guide offers some strategies to allow the world to readers of your work.

* Announce your E-ZINE *

Once you have your e-zine and webzine on the spot visit yahoo.com, google.com and msn.com and add your URL (if you have a lot of pages, it is wise to not submit more than five URLS per day). Don't pay for the services that promise to submit your site to hundreds of engines. This does not affect your traffic, just hit the large ones. For a primer on how to work the various engines, visit SearchEngineWatch.com. It offers a free newsletter that comes into tons of detail on how the working engines. Each time you make a significant change to your site or add new pages, submit or resubmit the URLs.

The next step is to enter the URL ' in the root directory online. You can save a lot of time if you prepare enticing 25-word, 50-word descriptions of 100 first word. " If you can explain your zine in one sentence you have a fighting chance ", says George Myers Jr. to LitKit. A description of a single sentence can help focus on the audience that you're after, and it helps when you are deciding where to enter your e-zine in directory. The beginning is the largest directory, followed by Open Directory. A good guide for smaller engines is directorylist.org.

Yahoo seems to prefer sites that have your own domain name; also in this case you may need to submit multiple times before being listed. Don't do it more than once every two weeks, and chose with care your category (suggest a second category if applies, but don't get greedy). Send your webzine under specific topics, such as travel or Humor or whatever describe better its contents. Yahoo! does not accept the ' free dispatch for trade categories, however, requires a $ 299 annual fee.

Finally, promoting your e-zine with ' sending communications to various services that boaters attentive to new sites. Send a notice of ALT. ezines Usenet group. If you do a non-commercial paper or electronic zine, post a notice on alt. zines. Announces new webzine on trade not comp. infosystems. www.announce, or any-zine at bookmarkz.com.

You can also add zine ezine directory to many, but most do not produce much traffic. If you have the time and patience, start with our list of free zine directory at http://www.zinebook.com and look for the " category " lists. It includes directories that zines list of specialties such as literary zines, fan fiction, indie music and titles by a single word.

* AS returning visitors *

Some zine editor include a registration form in their page where visitors can leave their email addresses. This allows the ' editor to compile a mailing list of people who are interested in the contents of the zine, and he or she may send notice when the webzine has been updated. However, by submitting your zine unsolicited ASCII text via email to an entire group of people is a bad idea. You can participate in a service that will automatically notify visitors who sign up when you refresh the page. More information on http://www.changedetection.com.

* SHARING OF WEALTH *

Some zines and carry advertisements, usually in the form of an Exchange banner. You can organize banner exchanges with local zine publishers alike, or participate in a service like LinkExchange. Usually for each banner is displayed for you to another site, you get a credit means with the service. Each credit means that your banner is displayed on another website. The ' services offer banner exchange are increasingly sophisticated targeted where ads are placed. You might also consider joining a Web Ring.
